Confession and spiritual Legacy of the Aviation Pioneer Dr. Ing. h.c. Igo Etrich

-18 - I already saw the goal of the genuine medical profession in these events and after we arrived in Schwarzach in Lower Bavaria in 1947 after the expulsion from our homeland, and lived in the poorest of circumstances after our material comfort, I utilised ever spare minute to gain intensive knowledge in this field, particularly after I discovered that abilities were dormant within me that I could not analyse myself and therefore could accordingly not put into practice. • I studied books, prayed, meditated and felt how my whole body’s balance was emersed in peace and harmony and that this made me stronger by the minute so that I soon possessed strength in abundance. This is when I found out that a friend, a 50 years old lady by the name Schwarzensteiner, she had fallen ill with incurable cancer of the bladder, had been declared incurable by her doctors. The daughter of the lady, she lived in the Rhineland, was called to nurse her mother until her expected demise. The daughter visited us on the very day of her arrival to report to us in tears about the inevitable demise of her mother. The thought was placed in my mind to try spiritual healing and I asked her whether her mother believed in God and in Christ and whether they were convinced that the Saviour could help, something they confirmed. I immediately began my work; without medication, without treatment, solely with prayers. Mrs. Schwarzensteiner already showed a healthy complexion after eight days, could talk to us and sit upright in her bed. After a couple of weeks had passed, she welcomed us in her garden and said that she no longer had any discomfort, but rather a healthy appetite instead. After a few more day she went to the May devotional, to a church in Schwarzach 3km away. Both of the treating doctors explained that the recovery was a miracle, something that caused a lot of excitement in the whole region. After we had moved to Feilassing in 1950, we lost contact with Mrs. Schwarzensteiner. But I ran into her daughter in Munich in 1955 and she told me that no discomforts had appeared during the last 5 years and this told me and all those involved that this was evidence for a spiritual healing. - During the years that followed, I was able to make a number of contributions towards spiritual healings so that the reality of such healings are a confirmed and unshakable fact to me now. The most famous Christian spirit healer of our time is Harry Edwards, an Englishman who performs the most astonishing healings all over the world through the power of prayers. His place of work is his residence in Guildford, one hour by train south of London. Harry Edwards organised a 24 hours a day praying chain throughout England that healing and praying groups from many places, and also nurses on night duty, participate in around the clock. • On the 30th of November 1959, twenty-two of the responsible medical experts in England gave the spirit healers permission to practise their healing sessions at close to 200 hospitals in London if patients asked for it. • The “British Medical Association” admitted that the health of patients had been restored through spirit healing that medical science could not explain, because most of them had been implemented with so-called “incurable patients”. Under the chairmanship of Harry Edwards, annual mass-healing demonstrations in front of thousands of visitors take place on stage at the Albert Hall in London; lots of disabled people in wheelchairs or on crutches go there to leave the place of healing unaided and healed. - Harry Edwards is a pious Christian and he asserts that he can only accomplish his “spiritual healings” with Christ-energy. It therefore comes as no surprise that England, with its numerous spirit healers and “Healing Centres”, and above all, through the openness of its authorities has become the European Centre for Spiritual
