Spiritualism versus Spiritism

33  Hardly anyone ever contemplates the fact that every religion on Earth obtained its knowledge, analogies and dogmas through contact with the spiritual world. Once the Christian Churches realised that failures resulted from their labours they soon abandoned their efforts. Aside from that they listened to the inspirations of scientists, thereby making the source of KNOWLEDGE and INDOCTRINATION to ebb away.  But the spiritual realm will not be silenced! Mankind will continue to receive the TRUTH anyway. 12. Religious dreamers cause mischief (Transmission from the year 1957) You, who are optimally informed about life after “death” are very surprised that the rest of mankind has so little faith in this kind of knowledge. You feel that there has been enough evidence produced to eliminate all doubts and you cannot understand why the doctrine of a life in the hereafter has become an object of ridicule in the minds of all too many people.  We are not always dealing with adversaries who hinder and oppose this. The world beyond has been morning the fact that this disbelief has been so deeply rooted within you for thousands of years. All uninformed people that leave their earthly existence, their great testing period behind in order to come to us, the great realm of REALITY, are bewildered and horrified that they are still alive. This realisation gives them such a jolt that they often take years to overcome the shock. They would like to convey the fact that they are still conscious and physically alive to their relatives and this with all their might. In some cases they might be able to make themselves noticeable for seconds or even minutes and this in turn give the relatives they left behind also a sizable shock. But then to good neighbours and know-better, the pundits, journalists and many, many other friends turn up and they take great pains to prove that these contacts with the hereafter are mental delusions. It’s a completely different situation with mediums. They are well aware that their contact with the hereafter is genuine - and nothing can mislead them. One cannot argue the point with them, because their experience goes beyond theory. They often put up with ridicule and prefer to be labelled mad, than to falsely admit that they are mistaken.  But there are some amongst these people, amongst these highly sensitive mediums, who do more damage than is good for them - and they destroy people’s faith and unintentionally attack GOD’S PLAN. The scientists, physicians, psychiatrists, psychologists, politicians etc, stalk these people. They provide “evidence” that spiritism and spiritualism are pure humbug.
