In the service of science - Part 3

14 ELIAS answered: “ Genuine spook is the manifestation of the invisible.” We undertook tests of a physical nature that were supported by the otherworldly. This eventuated in some very successful levitations (abrogation of gravity). We then established communication contact after these experiments and received an accurate explanation of the observed phenomenon. This is why we know that the SPIRIT controls physical matter (and not the other way round), if the right requirements are created for this. The medium is an important factor in effecting these requirements. The Psychic Peace Circle continues to report its experiences January 1968 One does not consult the Church when talk turn to the hereafter, but rather to medical science. One holds the opinion that physicians must also be competent in this direction. A physician, as confidant of his patient, must therefore be in possession of scientifically borne knowledge in regards to the soul and its potentialities to exist. If the physician is unable to provide any information about this, one assumes that neither an independent soul nor a hereafter exists. This unsubstantiated trust in medical science shown by the public is the greatest cardinal mistake mankind can ever make. There are indeed a number of highly respected physicians in possession of the nominative experiences and basic knowledge, but they cannot prevail against the superiority of those that deny GOD’S existence. This blind trust shown by mankind is terribly abused and leads to disappointments. Church representatives also avoid answering these questions, because they know that they are incapable of providing the right answers. • Neither physician nor the Fathers of the Church are experienced spiritualists, that is to say, spiritualist and those that entertain contact with the hereafter are far ahead of medical science and Church religions in this respect. Only an experienced spiritualist is in a position to give a binding answer to questions about the soul. He is a specialist of this very difficult field of knowledge. But if a spiritualist were to enrol at a university in order to study psychology or medicine , he would have to run the gauntlet with his spiritual knowledge. It would be impossible for him to engage in such studies, because he would be incapable of treading these well-worn paths of aberrations. It would be akin to unbearable torture. As things stand, it is not a case of whether medical science can give an adequate explanation about the immortality of the soul or not. The question of whether the spiritualist is credible enough is far more important. Existing experiences tell us that the public trusts spiritualist only marginally . Deceptions unfortunately rear their ugly head here too and this includes false reports for material reasons and a hostile attitude by the sciences and the Church. We do have to stress here that neither the sciences nor any Church or any other institution has ever been in a position to definitely refute the assertions and insights of spiritualism. This will also not be possible in the future, because the truth cannot be eliminated. • Spiritualism therefore requires more respect, more trust and beyond that the support of academic science.
