In the service of science - Part 3

15 To receive financial support for research and recognition from academic circles is particularly difficult , because the existing conceitedness within the university sciences does not allow the direct co-operation with experienced spiritualists. This is where a class difference exists that tries to suppress the truth in every possible way. • Research into the hereafter does not have to furnish evidence, because this evidence can be found a million times over all throughout the world. Spiritualism, as a natural science, needs access to universities. It does not suffice for an institute for soul-hygiene, like the one in Freiburg/Breisgau, to look for excuses in order to prove the opposite. • It demands reverence for mankind’s highest possible existence opportunities and development. The Psychic Peace Circle continues to report its experiences February 1968 One insists on the point of view that once-only evidence does not suffice. One should be able to produce the same evidence under the same conditions over again . The question is whether this demand also applies to spiritualism ? The LAWS of the realm of the spirit are so rigorous that it is difficult to fulfil the same conditions. • One can attend to all requirements when conducting a séance – but an amiss mental attitude of one participant can suffice to make the result questionable. This is the reason why most circles are closed entities. We also had bad experiences with guests and with other inquisitive people. • Therefore, the fact that a circle is a closed entity and bars the participation of other people does not mean that it plays hide and seek or has a guilty conscience, it is simply looking after its interests because of some adverse experiences in the past. A circle with a participant with a negative attitude in its midst will naturally not fail immediately, but the results will be rather mediocre , because the positive WORLD of the hereafter cannot get through in the desired manner. This advocated carefulness in regards to the selection of participants disconcerts academic science. Journalist turn even more sceptical and they often offer a paradigm of atheism. • Atheism is poison in regards to all contacts with the positive hereafter. This is why excessive doubters are untenable in every respect when it comes to séances. This inappropriate condition unfortunately supplies the waterwheels of journalists and academics with water. They are of the opinion that solid belief in the supernatural during séances leads to self- deceptions . One holds the opinion that this belief enormously limits one’s objectivity. This is a very unfortunate mistake! The objectivity of experienced and level-improving spiritualists is considerably greater then is the case with extreme doubters who fall prey to the most nonsensical excuses and distortions that have nothing whatsoever to do with objectivity. • The question of objectivity is decisive in regards to evidence.
