Invisible truth

62 The exploration of the spiritual realm (By Herbert Viktor Speer, February, 1965) We have always found that a pronounced devoutness hinders spiritual investigation - yes, it could even represent a danger. We can approach the spiritual world with LOVE and respect, but absolute gesticulations of devoutness constitutes a cultic exaggeration to the spiritual world. Friendship and sincerity represent a higher level compared to devoutness. It all depends on whether it comes from the heart. We also found out that CHRIST actually has a leading part to play in the spiritual realm. One can certainly make contact with the spiritual realm without CHRIST. But foremost SPIRITS, heavily involved in our development, come from a sphere that has definitely something to do with CHRIST. This doesn’t necessarily mean that we have to conduct all our contacts through CHRIST.  It suffices to recognise that GOD has a dependable DEPUTY by the name of CHRIST who has his MISSION to fulfil.  Those so-called MESSENGERS of LIGHT are TEACHERS trained in the spiritual realm, allocated to circles that are open-minded and willing to work.  It has been proven that names are of no importance, because only the INDOCTRINATION is relevant. If for instance an ARCHANGEL should announce himself by his name, his identity would be absolutely unverifiable . It has never happened in all of our thousands of séances that someone from the other side announced himself as an ARCHANGEL. But one can certainly regard the spiritual TEACHERS as ANGELS, because the come from higher spheres.  Overestimation of self is very dangerous! There are working circles that are easily led astray. Their mediums allegedly have direct contact with CHRIST or an ARCHANGEL or in a lot of cases even with GOD! Based on our extensive and intensive research into this field of knowledge, we consider these kinds of assertions impossible and harmful in regards to the TRUTH. Lower spheres of the spiritual realm are in close proximity to Earth. It is therefore a lot easier to make contact with entities from that sphere than with INTELLIGENCES from higher DOMAINS. If someone from the other side claims to act in the name of CHRIST, he definitely wants to play an extraordinary role. He wants to be taken serious by the circle participants. This is the pinnacle of self-aggrandisement and also blasphemy. Most circle participants don’t realise that they conjointly blaspheme with these otherworldly entities. It makes them feel like “chosen ones” and this flatters their egotistic cravings; they consider themselves to be good people. We have always maintained an attitude that we are students that don’t know their own flaws and are in need of instructions. We are now at a stage where we are able to recognise the position of an otherworldly entity in the scheme of things. A MESSENGER of LIGHT doesn’t talk with biblical rapture. He adapts precisely to the tone we set with our questions. It is therefore an error to assume that a MESSENGER of LIGHT must be omniscient. He can only tell something about an Earth dweller that he really knows and to do so he has to know him very well. For this reason a MESSENGER of LIGHT can only make comments about a circle participant, at the most about his etiquette, but not about far off, unknown people, he’s never seen face to face.
