43 The Psychic Peace Circle continues to report its experiences April 1970 The Canadian neurologist Dr. Wilder Penfield is of the opinion that the memory centre stores an infinite number of “tape-recordings” or “rolls of films” of everything individual people ever thought and experienced. He believes that he can retrieve these memories with the help of his electrodes. Spiritualism would no longer be a fact if this was correct; but thousands of séances carried out throughout the world speak against this. This raises the question: What is the reality here? We cannot answer this question, but our spirit FRIENDS have told us quite a lot about this. We, researcher into the world of the hereafter, established that consciousness does not reside in the brain. One’s whole consciousness with all its perceptions and feelings, as well as the whole capacity to think and to remember, is of a cosmic nature. If this was different, telepathy would also not exist. One should not allow oneself to be duped, because the soul only utilises the brain as an instrument . All conscious processes run via the brain, whilst the soul is incarnated in the body. The brain has very specific areas for very specific functions, but one of the most important function of the brain is the capacity to get a BEARING on something. WAVES emanate from the brain that we are presently unable to measure and they feel their way through the cosmos looking for MEMORY VIBRATIONS. As these VIBRATIONS are individually ordered, they possess a close similarity to a computer: Every undertaking, every perception programs the computer. This getting a BEARING on something makes finding SPIRITUAL VIBRATIONS possible. • Spiritualism verifies that consciousness is not tied to physical matter, that is also functions without a brain. We managed to ascertain that consciousness actually works even better without a brain. Using a comparison, news broadcasters are not inside your television receiver. The brain must therefore possess a kind of “TV screen”, one that mirrors conscious processes. But once a human being is disembodied , the “TV screen” inside the brain is no longer required, because conscious functions are changed over to direct reception . Dr. Penfield’s experiments show all too clearly that scientists dealing with the sector still use the ideas common school wisdom taught them. Like the representatives of the Church, they also doggedly stick with their own doctrines, doctrines that have been refuted through serious experiments by private spiritual research a long time ago. Were one to compare the brain’s activities of one’s consciousness with a computer, one would find that the “brain computer”, ergo the human brain, would have to be a hundred times larger than the largest computer on Earth. But as conscious processes run along purely cosmic lines there are no restrictions in regards to capacity. There is sufficient space available within the cosmos for all individual FREQUENCIES of the human consciousness. Just how far consciousness can expand was verified by our astronauts, they were able to think and to remember unimpeded even on the Moon. Howmuch longer will it take before the sciences discover what every experienced spiritist, occultist, spiritualist, esoteric and spiritual researchers already know? – Experiences with otherworldly spirits
