38 Based on our experiences we can rightly assert that a lot of ill will and unsavoury intentions hide behind this. The press and television have verified this. But the discrimination against a scientific truth is not directed solely against us, but also spreads to merited scientists and physicians that are prepared to champion this. Senior Medical Officer Dr. Hermann Gerbis , Berlin, experienced hundreds of our circle’s séances as an assessor. He already showed an interest when our circle began to form. He admired our mediums and the otherworldly GUIDING SPIRITS. Through lots of tests he recognised the absolute genuineness of the psychic connection and he attempted to also champion the cause within his professional circle. In spite of all his endeavours and explanations he did unfortunately not achieve anything in this respect. Dr. H. Gerbis was pitifully derided by his colleagues. This fact clearly shows the supercilious ignorance and intolerance in certain scientific circles who feel that they are the pinnacle of creation and who are unable to extricate themselves from the prejudices and false information rammed down their throats at universities. All further comments in regards to this are unnecessary. The situation with theologians isn’t different either: We had theologians attend our séances that were still actively preaching in Church. They too were fully convinced about the conscious, intelligent existence after death in spite of their dogmas and biblical wisdom. But they still refused to risk their position for this truth and insight in spite of this. Their “courage” was similar to that of CHRIST’S disciple Peter who allegedly publicly disowned the truth. There is undoubtedly a lot of deceit and self-deception going on, but the available, difficult to attain evidence is so comprehensive that not just one genuine case of evidence is available, but thousands of them that are absolutely reliable. We know that the powerful have the opportunity to lie to the people, but a lot of scientists are also under their control. The Psychic Peace Circle continues to report its experiences December 1969 Those that do not deal with psycho-science do not have any other opportunity to orient themselves in regards to life after death. The common sciences cannot give an answer, because it also still gropes around in the darkness of the mysterious. One would have to assume that it would be easy for modern science to clear-up the question of one’s survival. This is unfortunately a misconception. The question of why common science is incapable of shining a light into the darkness of our spiritual existence therefore arises. We grappled with this question. The result: Common science has a too material , ergo a too physical attitude. There is no doubt that a lot of great successes were recorded in this way, but the sector of the pure spirit has in contrast been totally neglected. All tests and experiments concerning the LIFE of the SPIRIT are therefore undertaken and assessed under completely false points of view. Parapsychology , ergo psycho-science, the way it is handled at these institutes associated to universities, is also more aligned with physical matter than the spirit. This is the reason why the spiritual existence is mainly of interest if it can be shown that it has a visible and verifiable influence on physical matter. Therefore all phenomena that deal with spook or kinetic facts catch their attention.
