28 The function of the brain can be compared to a substation situated next to the actual central station. The soul, that is to say the COSMIC CONSCIOUSNESS of man, is the actual central station in charge of all conscious processes. The medical fraternity raised the objection that man’s scale of emotions can be influenced via the brain, for instance when alleviating pain or when narcotising the whole consciousness. This objection can however also be refuted spiritually. • There are sufficient cases where an anaesthetised person no longer felt the body, but was still totally conscious in spite of this. • Beyond that are cases where people under a full anaesthetic were able to observe the operation carried out on their body from outside of their body. • And then there is the so-called phantom pain felt even thou limbs were amputated from the body. The cosmic consciousness registers the ASTRAL BODY. These patients momentarily believe that they still possess these limbs and that they can even move them. To dismiss these important processes as “nonsense” and to ascribe these facts to people’s imagination is too simple and too convenient. One could also assert that we human beings do not live on this Earth, that we simply imagine this. One is incredibly superficial and inconsequent in regards to all mental and spiritual processes! Excuses are constantly invented in order to not have to admit that these processes, those that describe the human existence, are infinitely greater and more complicated than one could ever imagine. The sciences disregard the enormous grandeur of the human existence and its eternal continuance. The Psychic Peace Circle continues to report its experiences March 1969 The aviation pioneer Dr. Engineer Igo Etrich left the following meaningful words in his literary legacy 2 : “It is a shame that so much light is darkened through conceitedness and faintheartedness.” Because of all the evidence we came up with in regards to the personal survival of the human spirit, we cannot comprehend the sciences’ ignorant behaviourism. Dr. Engineer Igo Etrich thought the same. He met a lot of well-known scientists and other people of authority in order to discuss spiritual facts. He generally met with reasonable open-mindedness, but it immediately disappeared into the background when the question of publicly supporting this spiritual evidence arose. When looking for the reasons for this disingenuous behaviour, one has to conclude the following: Most scientists are virtually employed by the state, ergo by political parties and politics in general. We are only aware of a few exceptions. Politics, representing the power of the state, keeps a watchful eye on the sciences and it matters not what field of knowledge they are engaged in.
