In the service of science - Part 3

25 REGIONS, makes today’s politics possible and thereby also the continuation of wars and their preparations. Without the spiritual truth, unrests and wars will happen over and over again . Peace, without scientifically acknowledged HIGHER INSIGHTS, is impossible . The Psychic Peace Circle continues to report its experiences December 1968 When talk turns to one’s survival after death one expects an objective answer from the sciences. But for as long as the sciences are unwilling to give a concrete “yes” to this question, the survival after one’s demise seems to be a great uncertainty to mankind. The reality is somewhat different. One cannot expect an objective opinion from the scientific community, because it neglected to intensively deal with spiritualism. It has not been possible up to now to measure or to verify one’s survival in the realm of the spirit with the help of reliable instruments. One therefore still has to depend on a human instrument, that is to say, a medium. There are unfortunately different levels of dependability or unreliability amongst all these human mediums. Even a specialist in this field finds it difficult to make a distinction. The representatives of the sciences are presently not in a position to make this distinction. A spiritual circle is therefore far superior in this respect. Our spiritual circle has been working for decades and this with the same mediums who have been minutely tested and observed in the process. Our work-circle does not depend on a specific phenomenon, but finds affirmation in thousands of little details that, when summarised, are of great importance. One single movement or reaction can objectively show that one is not dealing with a reaction of the medium, but with the emotive expression of an otherworldly entity that has to do battle with the difficulties the alien, material body of the medium represents. Based on experiences made over thousands of years, the spiritualist is able to give a decisive answer, one that can and must be rated higher than the experiences of the sciences. One cannot really say that there is superficiality in its assessment, because the collected and arranged material is abundantly available. Besides, a lot of other works, the fundamental compilation of all such experiences and observations by Dr. Emil Mattiesen alone are absolutely reliable and argumentative. But which scientist has ever studied these works? One cannot regard the present day Institutes of Psychology and Parapsychology as professorships for spiritualism. They are still a long way from being this. All of these scientific institutes are apparently funded and controlled by governments. But no government is really interested in the truth, but rather in the conclusion that one’s survival after death is still doubtful . Even if the administrator of such an institute is personally convinced of the spiritual facts, he sees no reason to publicly promote his personal conclusion. This question can therefore not yet be put to the sciences, it can only be put to those that have dealt with spiritualism all their life.
