Confession and spiritual Legacy of the Aviation Pioneer Dr. Ing. h.c. Igo Etrich

-23 - Comment by the publisher: In the first editions of this brochure, the following paragraph, it was originally supposed to be a component of this article, was not printed, because Dr. Etrich had his concerns about guaranteeing the anonymity of the informant. In April 1964, Dr. Etrich received confidential, written information from a highly placed and absolutely credible personality from the USA he was in contact with at that time. According to this information, an extraterrestrial spaceship was supposed to have crashed on the 2nd of July 1947 near Roswell, New Mexico. A farmer named William Brazel discovered the remains and reported this to the nearby military base because he thought that it was crashed military object. According to a confidential report, the wreckage and also the dead occupants of this object were recovered by a military commando under strictest secrecy and the area forensically searched for the minutest particles. Witness accounts and the ensuing press release on the 8th of July 1947, were subsequently falsified and denied by the government. More from Dr. Etrich: As new and as incredible these revelations might seem to some readers, I have to conclude with considerable satisfaction that psycho-science has been disseminated and comprehended to a much higher degree that most people assume. • Due to my position in public life, I had the opportunity to get into close contact with numerous, eminent and highly placed personalities and I was over again astonished to not only find interested listeners in this field of knowledge, but also deeper insights that were often based on their own mysterious experiences. Something that I did however find a shame was the sad fact that the knowledge about these things, the belief and the preparedness to further develop subject was there, but that the personal courage to admit this publicly was lacking in most cases. There are social obligations, the concern to bring discredit to a good reputation and a reputable name, the fear of disgrace, reputable government positions, high offices in public life and last but not least political party affiliations that cannot be brought into harmony with one’s own open confession of one’s own conviction. All I can say to this is: “What a shame that so much light is darkened through vanity and faintheartedness.” In line with today’s religious modernisation, one thinks that it is especially socially acceptable and desirable to sympathise with far eastern religions and their guidelines. But do people of the Christian faith not consider the fact that the recognition of them, relegates the wisest and greatest spirit that ever walked on Earth to a second rate “prophet”? - As we had the great blessing of having been born into Christendom, we have all the more reason to show ourselves worthy of this blessing and endeavour to be active Christians.
