Gods antagonist and his helpers

2 1. Satanic angels according to reports in the Bible God’s antagonist was once one of the archangels and his divine name was Lucifer . Through his sedition and fall from grace he became Satan (Hebrew: Satanas = Enemy) and Devil (Greek: Diabolos = Slanderer) and this is why he was ejected from Heaven with all his vassals that he had incited against God. Christ had this to say: Luke 10, 18: I saw Satan fall like lightening from heaven. The Book of Revelations states: Revelation 12, 7 – 9: Then war broke out in heaven, Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, who fought back with his angels. But the dragon was defeated and he and his angels were not allowed to stay in heaven any longer. The huge dragon was thrown out – the ancient serpent named the Devil or Satan that deceived the whole world. He was thrown down to Earth and all his angels with him. The Apostle Peter reports: 2 Peter 2, 4: God did not spare the angels who sinned but threw them into where they are kept chained in darkness, waiting for the Day of Judgment. And Jude, the brother of James, reports in his letter (Verse 5): The letter from Jude, Verse 5: For even though you know all this, I want to remind you of how the Lord once rescued the people of Israel from Egypt, but afterwards destroyed those that did not believe. Remember the angels who did not stay within the limits of their proper authority, but abandoned their own dwelling place , they are bound with eternal chains in the darkness below where God is keeping them for the great Day on which they will be condemned.
