- 5 - Preliminary remarks First preliminary remark All apocalyptic prophesies have a double character, they represent a warning and a prediction. If they succeed as a warning and effect a reversal, they do not have to succeed as a prediction, because their actual purpose is to have people take the warning serious and this actually resolves the necessity of the fulfillment of the prophesy. The future is a constantly changing weaving pattern in this respect, one that changes according to man’s thoughts and deeds. Prophesy doesn’t just show a future that can be changed, but that should be changed. But in regards to the drastic events that are forecast for 1997 to 1999, I must in mention in anticipation of these proclaimed events, according to the prophesies accessible to me, that an extensive irreversibility has established itself. To avoid an announced event is generally speaking less likely the closer the event moves in time and the more global it is – it is akin to a huge tanker at sea requiring a greater stretch of ocean to stop and to change course.
