Older people have some experience in this regards and this gives them a certain maturity. They are less inclined to be slaves to their urges and passions and their dangerous sexuality. They gradually extricate themselves from the demands of the flesh. This alone brings some advantage; because it supports their free strength of judgement and leads their spirit towards greater objectivity. 11 • Young people are still faced with impending disappointments; they still have to journey along the path of self-experience.
