A lot of people were convinced a long time ago that climatic changes are tied to nuclear tests. These changes do not have anything to do with radioactivity. But take the enormous air-displacement created by a nuclear explosion into consideration. The atmosphere is rapidly torn apart to then collapse with enormous energy. This creates new air currents.
