Psychic abilities and mediums

Question : A telepath was engaged to pick up the thoughts from these trapped miners. It ended up a fruitless exercise. Were there any survivors left in the pit? AREDOS : If one had engaged a spiritual medium, one could have achieved something. But as it happened, there were no other miners still alive. Those responsible for the rescue operation do not believe in these kinds of opportunities.  Faithlessness interrupts every spiritual connection! 11. Contradictory transmissions Question : Quite often contradictions arise within the transmissions from the hereafter. How is this possible? ARGUN : This is a situation where the medium’s subconscious comes into play. This comes about when the medium has its own convictions based on its own insights, gained through the study of certain literature. If the medium does not believe in the transmitted TRUTH, it stands confronted by a solid wall. In spite of all the truthful and genuine communications, a certain conviction develops within the medium. Question : How can we recognise the genuineness of a psychic communication? AREDOS :  GOD speaks with an intelligible tongue , understood by the most simplest of human beings.  GOD does not speak in symbols and HE does not speak the language of scholars.  The MESSENGERS of LIGHT also follow HIS example, but simple parables are quite acceptable. Question : We receive messages from all over the world and they contain a lot of nonsense. Are these messages actually psychic? AREDOS : Some of these “messages are the product of their own fantasy , originating from their craving for recognition. But there are also psychic messages that are genuine . These messages originate from entities who behave in a bumptious way out of pure boredom. They find themselves in a sphere that cannot furnish them with any enlightenment. If they are successful in establishing contact with a medium, they let fly with their threats and the more they are believed, the more fun they have. This is a very serious situation, because these mediums deal with people who take their nonsense serious and spread it far and wide.
