2 Questions and answers January 1970 Question : People depend on inspirations to a high degree. Can they do something to support the required inspirations? ELIAS : Genuine inspiration always involves the participation of otherworldly INTELLIGENCES. One can however not achieve anything by strenuously concentrating on a problem. Inspiration usually make an appearance when the thought process is labile . Inspiration is kind of a by-product. • All of you would have realised by now that concentrating on something does not help you remember it. But if you cease to concentrate on it and turn you attention to another subject, you will suddenly remember. Thoughts are enormous STREAMS of ENERGY and they reach a lot further than your strongest radio waves. The more intense you think, the more interferences arise, like with an over-amplified radio broadcast. Question : Are thoughts tied to localities? ELIAS : On the contrary – they reach long distances and emanate in every direction. But something else is tied to locality, namely emotions : • When a fierce argument takes place in a closed room, the released VIBRATIONS remain locally attached and reflect from the walls. It can then happen that people entering this room have a disagreeable, bilious sensation. These negative VIBRATIONS only gradually dissipate. • Pieces of jewellery can also be CARRIERS of VIBRATIONS. When dealing with old, worn pieces of jewellery one might find that they reflect the character of the person how wore them. • Antiques have often conjured up calamities, particularly when dealing with negative, horrible masks. • It also happens that one might feel an influence in a hotel room, particularly in a strange bed. This is not an assumption, but a very real and verifiable fact. February 1970 Question : Hauntings take place that attract the general public’s attention. The medium is usually a young person, particularly one affected by puberty. These hauntings cause a lot of damage and mischief. The sciences unfortunately only want to blame the medium for these phenomena. Can one protect a family bothered by such hauntings?
