20 Epilogue (by Hermann Ilg) I know that these descriptions will give the impression to many readers of being of a science fiction nature, but one cannot resent someone for thinking like that, someone who clings exclusively to the results of a physically orientated science and who is not prepared to accept things, which, to quote Shakespeare, “can’t be learned from books”. But if someone is capable of gaining an oversight over technological advancement not thought possible years ago, it shouldn’t be too hard for him to face those things with an open mind, things most people find surprising today, will be part of the reality of any field of research tomorrow. The depth of the human soul, which is just as mysterious as the universe, is also part of this and becomes ever more intimately familiar to us.  If we concentrate on the stillness of our innermost being, silence our thoughts and try to fathom the star filled heavens on the wings of our souls, we can experience a feeling of omnipresent freedom. The body stays behind and only the soul, which is not subjected to any physical limitation, separates from the worldly grasp and fully consciously enters into the open regions of the star filled heavens, accompanied by ENTITIES from the other plane of existence they are related to and they can give the necessary PROTECTION from the lowly inhabitants of the spheres close to Earth. But it can also happen that the relationship between the astral traveller and his companion is not of a particular high level of development, but for example may be suffering from rigid and prejudiced opinions. In a case like that, the astral journey may end in a mirage; and with a very powerfully opinionated companion, it can even be simulated as chaotic projections of one’s own world of imagination. A critical attitude is called for when these “experiences” are reported. A very important fact should be pointed out in closing, namely that the SPIRITUAL REALM has the opportunity to inspire anyone, without them being conscious of this. But the higher spiritual spheres will never influence the free will of man, unless danger is lurking. But it is certainly a characteristic of the lower spiritual world to interfere with the free will of man through negative inspirations. The history of this Earth shows the effect of this on the fate of individuals and nations. This is why it is so vital that we align our thoughts and emotions with the divineness of our character and that we listen to the voice within when it tries to make itself heard: “Learn to control your thoughts and connect with the UNIVERSAL POWER of LOVE, which will always protect you and will reliably usher you along the path to perfection: JESUS CHRIST. - Only he offers the guarantee of a secure ascension from the world of limited horizons to the omni-freedom of your eternal being“. Remember: That every one of us is the bearer of an infinite series of developments of undreamt possibilities, which come to fruition during eons.
