OTHERS sometimes want to go with such a soul, but they do not get very far. Question : Neither the church nor the sciences are aware of this. Will this situation change one day? ELIAS : The sciences cannot discount the fact that they move from one mistake to another, even if many a truth is discovered in the process. Even if scientists endeavour to remove one mistake after another, they are usually the ones that give birth to new mistakes that will have to be removed by others later. But they allow the odd sensible thing to remain every now and then. It isn’t any different with the churches, they are however even more restrictive. January 1970 Question : Can otherworldly souls arrange accidents? ELIAS : Yes, they can do so. – People of good will, endeavouring to reform and refine themselves, attract a circle of positive souls around themselves that stand by them and provide a certain amount of PROTECTION for them, this is something the baser INTELLIGENCES cannot breach. • But that such accidents are arranged is rarer than you think. Even very evil souls usually restrict their activities to psychic interference. Question : Can otherworldly souls break the concentration of planning something of someone on Earth through psychic interference? ELIAS : They cannot do so if the DOORS are not open for such a thing. But when a person succumbs to rage, all DOORS to the person’s sensitive PROTECTIVE AURA are immediately opened. Not all of it is due to interference. Therefore be careful! A lot of things are self-inflicted. Don’t always assume straight away that otherworldly beings mean you harm. • These types of annoyances and accidents are more frequent with primitive people, like for instance in New Guinea. This is why they greatly fear spirits, as they stem from their own tribes. One does not have to search for too long, because a belief in ghosts developed from these experiences. Intellectuals that are only interested in making money and in material things have unfortunately hardly any occult contact, at least not consciously. When somebody experiences something really supernatural here and there, one doggedly asserts that they have lost their mind.
