Our extensive experiences gave us the impression that superstition is the wrong kind of attitude to take in regards to many facts. But we also experienced that scientists, for instance doctors etc can also be quite superstitious and therefore reject spiritualism and generally speaking all occultism as well as all religions. They do however play solitaire , believe in astrology in newspapers and dread Friday the 13 th . – Superstition is naturally psycho-science’s doctrines greatest enemy. • Only once real superstitions have been silenced will the psycho-scientific doctrines become part of the general public’s education. The masses can unfortunately not determine whether programs on radio and television or reports in the press comply with the truth. They gullibly accept everything as the truth, because they believe that these institutions are better informed. We had an opportunity to talk to and to work with a television production team. It was quite devastating to find out what people tell you about a special field of knowledge they have no inkling of whatsoever . • This aberration-infection is however extremely dangerous, because it has an influence on the political thought processes of all nations! The fact that this ignorance in this field of knowledge is particularly pronounced in Germany is very regrettable. One is far more enlightened in England, the USA and many other countries around the world. This elucidation is not a concession given by democracy, but a serious endeavour to explore the truth that is still partially hidden below the surface of our knowledge. It will surely still take quite some time before these difficult obstacles will be overcome. With the founding of the “Parapsychological Institute” one has already created the foundation for this research. One has virtually dealt with a secret science up to now. The spiritual realm will however find ways and means to present this institute with the truth. As it stands, private research groups and private circles still possess the better mediums. There would be no exact exploration of the spiritual realm without these mediums. November 1966 Automatic writing is subject to certain LEGALITIES. With fully-automatic writing , that is to say, with completely unconscious psychic writing, these LEGALITIES make an international appearance. We are dealing with the arrangement , the way the hand is guided as well as the continuous script . Over all of this towers the otherworldly INTELLIGENCE that voluntarily provides directives on how encountered difficulties can be dealt with. The medium must however be completely passive all the time, ergo it must remain subordinate. It can certainly not give its own directives. December 1966 The ability to write psychically (automatic writing) The researcher Dr. Emil Mattiessen has the following to say about the phenomenon of the type of automatic writing we employ: “The message can come about through a variety of methods whereby an accompanying occurrence plays no role whatsoever or only a minor one, the role of a simple agent of secondary rank. Utterances
