Question : What do you make of talking mediums ? AREDOS : Talking mediums already played a major role during the time of CHRIST. But even though they achieved a lot and still achieve a lot, most of them are not quite reliable . The otherworldly GUIDES are most of the time not always able to push the talking medium’s consciousness aside to a degree, where it doesn’t participate in the message. It often happens that the OTHERWORLDLY is supplanted by the subconscious of the talking medium. Question : Some mediums also use a pendulum . What do you make of such mediums? AREDOS : This method is very unreliable, because in most cases the subconscious of the medium controls the pendulum. It must track every letter anyway and this automatically makes the medium interfere in the process. Irreproachable contact with OTHERWORLDLY only succeeds in a few cases. * * * * * * * About mediumship The assumption that the hereafter, that is to say, the WORLD of SPIRIT belongs with the here and now is correct. These two worlds build a whole. When talk turns to the here and now, all life bearing worlds throughout the universe are naturally included. But when talk turns to the hereafter, one is naturally dealing with many, many SPHERES and all of them exhibit various LIFE FREQUENCIES. • The SPHERES of the spiritual realm are as polymorphic as the stars in the universe. The actual living space of mankind is unimaginably large and the duration of the human existence divine. The residence of the soul’s individuality in various physical bodies is only temporary and serves development. As people are not completely separated from the WORLD of the HEREAFTER during their terrestrial life, they will always have some contact with the REGIONS of spiritual LIFE. We call this contact being psychic . Psychic abilities can encompass all conscious processes and also all organs controlled by the brain. • But psychic ability does not include the vegetative control of the physical body. An otherworldly spirit can therefore not exert power over the function of the heart, the liver etc. • An otherworldly spirit can also not impose its power over the life or death of a terrestrial human being, even if it has control over the foreign body through trance or through possession. • An otherworldly spirit can however influence the foreign body under certain circumstances to a degree that it will carry out unintended actions (running Amok) or exposing itself to dangers, sometimes even falling to its death. That being psychic represents a kind of illness that leads to the decline of one’s health and eventually to one’s death is an aberration. On the contrary – being psychic can bring considerable advantages to the medium if it works as an instrument within GOD’S plan.
