19 The devotees of the Lorber-doctrines must also keep both feet on the ground and try to differentiate where the phraseology is symbolic – and where the limitations of our terrestrial phraseology lie. A different LANGUAGE is spoken in the higher spheres than the ones used in the earthbound spheres that also include our terrestrial existence. • Completely absurd is for instance the dogmatic assumption that the GOD-FATHER and JESUS CHRIST are one and the same person. GOD is an omnipotent SPIRIT and it never ties itself to matter which is HIS rigid LIGHT. Even when Lorber asserts: “When GOD walked on Earth…” you find that ONLY the symbolic LANGUAGE of HEAVEN was utilised. For as long as HIS words are still preached, GOD still walks on Earth these days . GOD’S PRESENCE is present through the inspired words of his MESSENGERS of LIGHT. Question : There are psychic revelations that are unconditionally believed by many. Can we for instance give Lorber’s revelations absolute credibility? ARGUN : The truth is given to many chosen ones, but that in itself is not enough, because it is a lot harder to spread the truth than to receive it. The difficulties of dissemination often causes mistakes. – It is therefore no surprise that one mistake followed another that deviated from the original truth over a longer period of time. You may therefore no longer believe everything written in the bible and the same applies to all other mediums after a while. Besides, mediums always render the things they understand themselves. The subconscious “corrects” many genuine transmissions from the higher spheres during a trance or clairvoyance, because the transmission seems too incredible to the medium. This is why writing contacts (automatic writing) are more reliable if they remain on a subconscious level. February 1958 Question : Lorber devotees assert that GOD and CHRIST are one and the same. What does Battle of Armageddon mean? Eminent MESSENGERS of LIGHT have been telling us for quite some time about a Battle of Armageddon that is mentioned in the Bible. We are dealing with a spiritual dispute between GOOD and EVIL that also has visible effects on the people living on Earth. Most people are unaware of this terrible dispute. But if we take a look at the present situation on this planet of redemption, we would have to clearly recognise its dangers. Most people on this Earth, being unaware of this spiritual Battle of Armageddon, therefore behave completely wrong. They fight with on wrong side, they are ignorant accessories and dangerous servants and soldiers at the side of Lucifer, who would like to prevent his approaching chastisement with all available means. Lucifer is running out of time, he knows this – and races at great speed trying to gain some advantage. Lots and lots of people help him without knowing what terrible and anti-god service they provide.
